Phoenix Union High School District
In Spring 2025, I joined the Phoenix Union High School District’s Marketing Department as a marketing intern, supporting a variety of multimedia projects across photography, videography, design, and communications. During my time with the district, I contributed to event photography/videography and video editing, designed digital graphics and billboards, and assisted with newsletter and social media content. After completing my internship, I continued with PXU as a contract designer, creating billboards, printed signage, and a district guide, further expanding my role in visual storytelling and developing creative assets that supported district-wide initiatives and cultural events.
Culture Day at Central
I filmed and edited Central High School’s Culture Day, capturing students as they celebrated their cultures through dance, poetry, music, food, and community activities. I loved being immersed in the event — the energy, pride, and creativity made it an unforgettable experience to film and bring together in the final edit.
Newsletter & Social Recap
I visited schools across the district to photograph and cover events, writing short recaps that were shared on social media and featured in district newsletters. I also interviewed students to capture their perspectives and highlight their voices.

Captured and edited student interviews at Carl Hayden and Betty H. Fairfax High Schools, showcasing their experiences in cultural and academic programs.
Billboards
I designed a series of digital billboards for the Phoenix Union High School District, including a rotating display along Interstate 17 near Osborne Road, which receives thousands of impressions daily. I also created complementary designs for the PXU building digital marquee and another billboard on Central Avenue, all maintaining PXU’s branding and visual identity while maximizing community reach.
